David Fonseca, Incubator Manager of the Innovation Center at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, is an experienced innovation activist who has presented at NBIA events in Mexico, the U.S. and Russia.
Fonseca has served over 130 companies in the last 5 years. He graduated with a BBA in Finance and a Masters in Business Administration from TAMU-CC in 4 years working 40 hours a week. In 2010, Fonseca served as president Colombian Student Association where he designed a sponsorship program to support the PILEA Foundation in Colombia, which currently helps low-income children and adults with genetic disorders. In 2012, Fonseca was instrumental in writing an Economic Development Administration (EDA) grant, which was awarded for the next five years.
An NBIA member since 2010, David led a Department of State initiative in Corpus Christi called the Idea Incubator Program to help well established companies from the Pacific Alliance countries Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Chile learn advance manufacturing and how to do business in the USA. He is a certified coach in the Wendy Kennedy Inc and Growth Wheel models and completed NBIA’s Incubator Management Certificate Program. David served on an Economic Development Administration task force and he co-founded and serves in the board of the Young Business Professionals of the Coastal Bend, which now has over 500 members in Corpus Christi.

David was elected by the membership to serve in the board of directors of the National Business Incubation Association, which has more than 2,100 members that serve collectively over 60,000 client companies in 60 countries.
